A Gastric Diverticulum at Unusual Site


Abstract
The gastric diverticulum occurs as a rule on the lessor curvature or posterior wall near the cardia. It is essentially insignificant but differentiation from gastric ulcer or other diseases is important especially when a diverculum occurs at unusual site.
A radiographically evident gastric diverticulum on lower body in lessor curvature was observed in 48 years old Korean female who complains of epigastric fullness, mild postprandial discomfort and indigestion.
